Our services include the assessment, treatment, and reports on the mental health and mental issues of children, adolescents, and families. Our report writers are experts in the field who work with flexible delivery timings and are able to submit reports, in some cases, within a week of the first meeting with patient.
We specialize in professional court report writing and our trained expert witnesses have up to date CPD training and regular appraisals.
All our assessments aremade usingrecommended and standardized tools for diagnosis of neuro-developmental disorders.
We use diagnostic tools like-
ADI-R The Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) is a structured interview that we conduct with the parents of the individual being assessed, in order to proceed with the proper evaluation and therapy route of possible autism spectrum disorders.
ADOS The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) is a tool used in diagnosing autism. This consists of some simple tasks – very structured or semi-structured that involve social interaction between the examiner and the patient in order to observe the way the patient will react in different situations.
3Di The Developmental, Dimensional, and Diagnostic Autism Interview (3Di) is a computerized assessment used in the diagnosis of autism in children and teens. A computerised system generates symptom and diagnostic profiles for the patient in autistic and non-autistic conditions. This test can help further diagnose an autism spectrum disorder and is particularly useful in writing court and diagnostic reports.
Apart from these, our trained clinicians can use tools such as the Continuous Performance Test for ADHD as well as other sensory profile tools to assess various neuro-developmental and emotional wellbeing difficulties. We can also help assess and differentiate other issues such as depression and anxiety which may be playing a role in behavioural issues.
At ED Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Experts, we strive to make it as easy and comfortable as possible for both patients and families to cope with the issues they are facing. Our focus is on the proper evaluation and diagnosis of each individual case, as well as the best treatment possible moving forward.
